General
By choosing to work with me (TaurusRC Designs) and purchasing a commission, you (the client) agree to the terms outlined on this page. I reserve the right to turn down any commission inquiry without providing a reason. I also reserve the right to change these listed terms at any time, however, future changes will NOT apply retroactively or influence work started on previous terms.You must be 18 years of age or older to order a commission.Commercial projects are priced differently. Email me directly to inquire at [email protected]Provided references should include any specifics you want in the piece. I will take liberties and I may simplify some more intricate details to fit scope/style of the commission.I will not accept commission proposals that are derogatory or hateful in any way. I also reserve the right to turn down any commission inquiries without providing a reason.
Payment
Payments are taken via Zelle or Paypal invoice in USD. All prices are in USD.Commissions at or under $100, payment is due up front before the commission is started. For commissions above $100, 50% of the payment is due upfront as a deposit, and the other 50% is due after the commission is completed.All invoices are due within 5 business days of receiving them unless agreed otherwise. Invoices not paid on time will be paused or canceled. No further work will be completed. Clients will not receive the final completed work until payment is delivered in full.Partial refunds may be requested if needed depending on the circumstances. the amount of refund is at my discretion and based on how much time has already been put into the project. No refunds will be given on work that has been completed!
Revision Clause
Prices include the maximum of 2 revisions per commission. Revisions must be discussed during the work-in-progress stage to accommodate changes before the commissions goes through final refining/rendering stages. Should the client go past their 2 revisions and require further changes a Further fee must be negotiated before work can continue. The Further fee must be paid at that time.
Kill Fee
Should the client terminate the job, the commission or a project be canceled. Or should I choose to end working with a client, a kill fee will be implemented. Set fee may be the deposit or a percentage of the remainder of the project price.
Deadlines and Turnaround
Work turnaround’s will vary based on commission details or contractual hard deadlines. If you have a deadline that is different from what is outlined in the commission's post; you must discuss it with me first so I can determine whether I am able to accommodate it.

What You will Recieve
Minimum 300 DPI PNG at the original canvas size of the completed work, plus a smaller, more web-friendly version for social media. Graphics, logos, and other various commissions or items designed for social media or printing will be adjusted for the client's commission needs and delivery.
Copyright & Fair Use
I retain the copyright for all images created. I retain the right to post the work to any of my social media accounts, portfolio websites, and/or personal websites. If you do not wish me to post the work to any of my social media or websites, this will incur an additional fee. (Privacy or NDA fee)
Personal Use Rights
When you (the client) purchase a personal commission, you have personal use rights and agree to not use the work for profit.You may print and frame it to hang on your wall, you may use it as a desktop, laptop, or mobile device background, you may use it as a social media or Discord icon, a personal social media banner, etc.You may not reproduce, distribute, alter, or otherwise use the work commercially. You may not claim that you created the work.
Commercial Use Rights
Commercial use incurs additional cost and contract adjustments that and must be agreed upon before initiating or proceeding with any commercial use. For further information please contact me at [email protected]
Artwork Protection and Watermarking
Art pieces under my social media/portfolio/websites will bear my watermark (Except for specific client graphics). Any removal or editing of my signature from the commission will be against my TOS, and it will result in a blacklist. There is a 15% copyright fee that clients may purchase. However the higher a commission is, the higher the fee will be for intensive peices.
AI Learning, AI Training, AI Art, AI Replication, Machine Learning
You may not, under any circumstances, use, redistribute, sell, resell, alter, or reproduce the commission for anything related to AI or machine learning, training, and replication for AI programs such as Midjourney, DALL-E, StarryAI, WOMBO Dream, and other Generative AI programs.If you are found to use my artwork for AI. You will be blacklisted.
Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and NFT's
You may not, under any circumstances, use, redistribute, sell, resell, or reproduce the commission for anything related to cryptocurrency, blockchain, or NFTs (non-fungible tokens.) I do not have alternate pricing options/fees to purchase such rights.If you are found to use my artwork for any of these items. You will be blacklisted.
Retweeting, Reblogging, or (Re)Sharing vs. Reposting
I post all finished work to my social media unless agreed otherwise. Please note that asking me not to share your commission to social media at all may incur an additional fee. (Asking me not to post until after a certain date if it's a surprise gift, for example, is okay.) Retweeting (such as on Twitter, reblogging (such as on Tumblr or PillowFort,) or (re)sharing (such as with the paper plane icon on Instagram) help me to expand my audience for my work so I can potentially gain more support to continue to do my artwork, and hopefully do even more of it. Retweeting, (re)sharing, and reblogging my post of your finished commission is much appreciated and encouraged!Reposting or reuploading your commission -meaning re-uploading it to your own social media or a Discord server, etc to post -is allowed with proper credit back to my art handle @TaurusRC Designs. This helps others to find me in case they want to commission me so I can grow my business and is also much appreciated!You may not repost or reupload artwork by me that you did not commission.You may not claim that the artwork was made by you or imply any such claims.
